This week marked an exciting milestone for Carinyo Care as we welcomed our team into our new office location.
While a new office represents growth for our organisation, our focus remains unchanged – providing compassionate, person-centred live-in care that enables people to continue living safely and independently in the place they know and love: their own home.
The day also allowed us to celebrate one of our exceptional carers, Cristina, during her annual appraisal.
Earlier this year, Cristina was recognised with our Making a Difference Award after supporting one of our clients to create a beautiful rose garden. What began as a conversation about the client’s lifelong love of gardening became a meaningful project that restored confidence, encouraged independence and brought immense joy.
Today, those roses are flourishing – a lasting reminder that outstanding care is about much more than meeting physical needs. It is about understanding the person behind the care plan, supporting their interests and helping them continue to enjoy the things that give their life meaning.
To recognise Cristina’s compassion and dedication, she was presented with a handcrafted crochet daisy plant as a small token of appreciation. It serves as a reminder that acts of kindness continue to bloom long after they are given.
At Carinyo Care, we are incredibly proud of team members like Cristina, who consistently go above and beyond to enrich the lives of the people they support.
